Well, Mami said I could have my own blog until I was 2…now the time has come and you’ll find periodic updates about me on our family blog (http://schloomi-family.blogspot.com/). I hope you liked reading about my development over the first 2 years of my life! Thanks to all who visited and left me comments, I hope you leave us comments on our family blog, or my little sister’s blog (http://www.laylani-cobie.blogspot.com/) too. Take care, Lillya
Gym Time
Papi needed to make sure other kids had a chance to jump on the bouncy thing, so I quietly watched for little bit and then Papi and I ran around the gym for a while and worked up a more of a huge thirst!
Bouncy Thing
“Suuuppppper” Mami and Papi took me to another festival in Gommiswald and they have one of these bouncy things too…and now that I know how this thing works, I concentrated really hard (just look at my tongue) to stand up and jump around.
Sandela!
Mami was spying on me while through the glass door I was playing…but as she saw, I am having a grand old time in my Sahara sandbox. I even worked up another hunger and got to have another snack!
Snack Time
Mam, Laylani and I are spending the afternoon outside today and I’ve worked up a hunger…so it’s snack time.
Mami Work
Playing ‘Mami’ is one of my favorite jobs as being a big sister. Here I am making sure she is tucked into her wippe and then taking a little rest myself because this Mami-stuff is hard work!
Tenderly Love
Even though Laylani is a little boring for me right now, I sometimes read to her; but every day I give her tender kisses…Mami taught me to be gentle with her and most of the time I am…
On the Move
After getting my ice cream, I kept Papi on the move by following me all around the farm that was having a party…
Jumping Jungle
I have been on a trampoline a few times, but never one of these blow-up-jumpy-things. Mami says I saw this thing, ran right for it, took off my shoes and got right in to try it out… I just know I was being bounced by the other kids jumping more than I was able to get up and jump myself…either way I had a great time and the only way Mami and Papi got me out was to offer me some ice cream!
Fascination Rocks & Water
Papi took me to the little water hole. He showed me how to throw stones in it, watch them splash and make waves, “WOW” I liked this. Mami said she and Papi had water and stone fascinations when they were little too – and now that they are older too.
Garden Work
Mami and I were doing some garden work today while Laylani was sleeping, but now Laylani is awake and Mami has to feed her – so I am going to get Mami’s garden shoes and see what more I can do…
Mami's Camera
Mami’s camera bag (and camera) fascinate me, look how dexterous I am, I can get the little SD Card out of the case…which I am not supposed to be playing with…Ut-oh!
Clowning Around
I have my PJs on Mami said I got another wind of energy, maybe she is right…here I am clowning around with my yellow pillow and Laylani’s wippe.
Bumbo Head
As you can see I am pretty stable going up (and down) the stairs. Here I am bringing the Bumbo upstairs (after getting it out of the bag downstairs by myself). Mami says it is now for Laylani, but I don’t know why; I still fit in it!
Opening Gifts
Many of the guests have left my party and I did not get a chance to open all of my presents, here is the one from Laylani’s Gotti Sandra and Luc. “heeelllllo kiiiittiii sandboxxx toooyys” with a “yeeelllllllowww tuuuurtl”.
