Play & Snuggle

I like to play and snuggle with Papi...
...and Papi always gives me a smooch saying he likes it too!

Bath Time

Mami uploaded these pictures in reverse order! I was not really a happy camper in the bath tub…ever since Africa I have not really liked being in water at all – good thing Mami and Papi don’t mind giving me sponge baths!

Chillin'

I was jabbering away and chillin' with my legs crossed in my hanging-swinging-wippe after Mami swung me for a good 15 minutes.

Swingin'

Check out some of my live footage, but be aware that Mami reduced the quality so it could be uploaded here.

Laundry Room Helper

Mami was doing my laundry and asked me if I could help her…here I am doing my best to help in the laundry room.

Prisoned?

Some of you may think Mami put me in some kind of toy prison…this is not totally true, but I do have a bunch of stuff in my play pin and sometime I like to move around to get another angle on things. Today, I was moving around and playing so hard, I fell sound asleep right where I was…

Play Time

One minute I was playing on my blanket, another minute I was posing for Mami, then Mami was doing some chores around the house and I took a little trip off of the crawl blanket with my bumble bee chew…Mami was not so happy because I am not the most gentle one when flipping from my stomach to my back and most of the time bang my head on the floor; but she caught me before I did my flip.

DE Family Visit

My cousins’ house is being remodeled, so Mami, Papi and I stayed in a B&B; but I enjoyed visiting with my family in Germany!

Schuepbach Girls

Every time Mami got out the camera, Anna wanted to be in the pictures too…aren't we adorable...

Wood Puzzle

My cousin Anna set up her wood puzzle for me and let me play with it…well I guess I did less playing and more slobbering on two of the pieces…luckily she did not mind; although she did mention to her Mami that it was ALL wet…

Cousin Anna

Meet my cousin Anna, she lives in Southern Germany with her brother Luis. This was the second time we have met each other. I guess when I am older we will spend more time together with our Grossmami and Grosspapi here in Switzerland.

Jumperoo

OOOOhhhhhh I still love my Jumperoo. Mami let’s me play in it about twice a week or so. I have discovered most of the cool things on it, but still don’t spin the seat around too much for now.

Winter Time

Now that I am back from up to 40 °C (104 °F) weather in Africa, we got 40cm (15.75 in) of snow and Mami has to start packing me in my winter suit to go outside.

Cousins Portraits

Getting the three of us to all sit and say “cheese” to the camera was not such an easy task for Mami. She said she did the best she could with the subjects…what ever that means.
Luis especially liked that he could hold me, and I felt pretty comfortable too…

Stats

My latest development statistics…now that I am 6 1/2 months old.
Weight: 5.9 kg (13 lbs)
Height: 64 cm (25.2 in)
Vocabulary: still no words but lots of 'singing', da-da-ing, laughing, strange noises, coos, screams and grunts
Noise Level: Schüpbach family-like :-)
Facial Gestures: :-O :-D :-P :-] and all sorts of other ones, sometimes only ones a Mami and Papi can love; like when I am blowing bubbles in my food and get it all over the place
Body Movements: kicking, throwing arms around and slapping my hands down, pinching with my fingers (perfected on Goat Poop in Africa), inch-worming around on my back either turning in circles or moving in the direction of where my feet happen to be
Food: now eating 2 cereals a day, once with veggies and once with fruits; no clue how to drink from a bottle or sippy cup still -- but a normal glass works to get 60%-75% of water in me
Sleep: for the past 3 nights I have slept in my own room and in my own bed and did not wake up for Mami to feed me until the early morning (between 05:00 and 06:30).

Me & Grossmami

Grossmami likes to take care of me. Today we went for a walk outside, Mami and Grossmami had to bundle me up…we are not in Africa anymore!!! I went from 40 degrees Celsius to 40 centimeters of snow at home all in less than one week!!! But eveyone says I have inherited Papi's warm feet...I guess that is why I do not have any socks on...

Picking Up Sand

Mami and Papi took me to visit Fritz, Rosmarie and Vamos shortly after our Africa trip. I enjoyed being at their place and made myself at home in the middle of their living area. Vamos was also happy to see me and wanted to play with me and my toys.
Before leaving we loaded Mami’s car with all of the Sahara sand Papi prepared and Fritz brought home for me. This is what it looked like when unloading…she said she kind of liked the idea of her Subaru being christened by sand…I guess that is a good thing; I just know I am going to love my Sahara sand box – but Mami and Papi need to get some more sand in order for me to have one that is a decent size!!!

Eating Fun

Look, here you can see my 2 front bottom teeth!!!
Mami and I had a good time today eating and Mami finally gave in, she let’s me drink from her glass or other normal glasses…I still don’t get the whole sippy cup thing…actually I get it, but I simply prefer a glass.
For the most part, I have fun eating…and I am usually quite relaxed!!!
