2008 -> 2009

Well 2008 was a year of big travels…Mami’s birth canal, America, Africa, Italy and quite a few places in Switzerland. Next year I will be able to walk like this baby elephant and then my travels will have a completely different appeal…all the best to all of you (my fans who come back to my blog and check out my development) and your families for 2009.

Corner & Gifts

OK, so again I had fun with the paper, but here you see me back in my corner playing with my new gifts and in the end this is really much better than the paper…especially in my corner!!!

Corners

I am the type of person who really loves body contact, but sometimes the adults are busy watching me and then I find a corner for myself where I have contact to things…just like “my corner” at home; I have discovered a cool corner here in the Wintergarden room where I can press my feet against the extra chairs, sing and play with what ever seems to be around; and of course the more stuff that is around the happier I am!

Ok, now I am really done hanging out in my Bumbo…now starts the fun with paper again!!! First Grossmami and Mami prepared my new mini letters and numbers mat then they let me tackle my gift on this sunny day after Xmas.

Africa Memories

The day after Xmas we visited Grossmami and Grosspapi. Mami knew I would be hungry as soon as we got there, and I was! She had my food already prepared in a thermos…and naturally my travel eating throne, my Bumbo.
Here I am happily hanging out in my Bumbo and playing with my ‘travel buddies’ after eating, this brings back memories of Africa, the sun is shining (at least outside), I have just eaten in my Bumbo, I have my Lion, “wormi” and ‘lil wood man…

OK, so when the paper is gone the gift is pretty cool, here I am trying to figure out which of my new books I want to read…

Paper vs. Gift

For some time after opening my gift, I thought the paper was more interesting…it makes funny crackling sounds when I pinch, slap and squash it in my hands. So in a fight Paper vs. Gift, well Paper is clearly a winner as long as it is around!!!
