Geeez!
Geeeeez Mami…I think my fans get it and see that I can eat my snacks by myself by now! Yes, and now they can even see I can precisely pick up snack pieces and get them into my mouth too.

Me Live In Action

Stats
Development Statistics at 9 months old.Weight: 6.6 kg (14.5 lbs)
Height: 66.5 cm (26.2 in)
Vocabulary: Mami says I still have no definite words but I am very vocal. I like to sing with all sorts of syllables (ba-ba, da-da, ma-ma and more), laugh really long to short giggles, when I want something I make an “uhhh” sound, when I get real excited or want attention I scream (sometimes with ear drum breaking noise levels)
Facial Gestures: :-O :-D :-P :-] :-( :- and all sorts of other ones, the one that I get the best responses from other people is when I smile from ear to ear and scrunch my nose up at the same time. Also when I smile showing off my 6 teeth I get great reactions from other people.
Body Movements: Active Active Active....sitting without falling forwards, nodding my head so hard and fast Mami says I was a natural born headbanger, waving my right hand around from the wrist, throwing fits by kicking and throwing arms around with fisted hands when I do not get my way, picking up anything I find anywhere I can reach with my pincher grips, still not crawling but inch-worming around on my back either turning in circles or moving in the direction of where my feet happen to be – but do not get me wrong I still get around, just with my own way!
Food: I eat 3 big portions of baby cereal a day(2 veggies and 1 fruit). I also get meat 3 times a week and Mami has also started putting natural yogurt and cream cheese in my baby cereal… MMMMMmmmmm. I get enough liquids with still being breast fed 2 times a day and with some water or tea in a glass after my meals. What I really like is all the little snacks Mami gives me after I have eaten my meal and drank enough liquids…she gives me crackers, pieces of bread, fruit, veggies and all sorts of things for me to try. My favorites are my ‘baby crackers’ as soon as Mami touches the box I start to get excited and start nodding my head furiously with huge round eyes!
Sleep: I sleep for 10-12 hours every night alone in my own room. If I wake up at all, I usually go back to sleep within a few minutes. Mami or Papi has only had to come get me 3 times since over the past 2 ½ months!!! During the day I take 2 naps and either sleep in my bed or in one of my hammocks in the living room.

Big Girl
I may be a big girl eating my snacks all by myself, but I am still just a little thing. Here you can compare me with my Tripp Trapp. Mami says I am still in the lowest part of the bell curve for height and weight of other girls my age.

Scowling
Mami is disturbing me while I am concentrating on eating my snack!

Winter Walk
Mami took me for a walk today, but not in my stroller. Today she packed me in my “Tragtuch”, with my funny orange winter hat and wrapped the special Tragtuch blanket around my back. Boy, did I enjoy having Mami’s warmth. She said it must have been “a sight”…I was sleeping (after about 20 minutes of non-stop singing) and she was watching podcasts on her iPhone as she was strolling around our hilly neighborhood with me.
Mood Swings
Oh yes, and what great woman doesn’t have some mood swings once in a while? Here I am going through a full swing…don’t worry; only about 1 minute later and I was back to the smile! It was short before my nap time and I was a bit theatrical and pulled a giddy-to-grumpy-to-giddy act.
Shake-n-Sing
And here I am in full action making all sorts of noise with my pasta water bottle and just to make it clear who is in charge, I am doubly loud by singing over the rattles of the pasta!
Simple Things
Mami makes sure I have plenty of simple things to peak my curiosity (which I have a ton of)…check out my pasta water bottle…
