Dangerous Fitness

Part of my regular fitness program each day for the past several weeks is climbing on my Tripp Trapp…sometimes Mami has to look away…

Keeping Company

Keeping Mami company in the kitchen…climbing around and reading…

Bathtub Test

Today Mami and Papi are going to test out bathtubs and since I am going to my childcare, Mami said I could sit in the tub with her for a few minutes before we hit the road.

Stats

Development Statistics at 15 Months old.
Weight:
9.02 kg (19.89 lbs)
Height: 77 cm (30.32 in) I have gotten taller!
I am now in the 25% group for height and 10% group for weight!!!
Vocabulary: I wave and say "Hi" and "Tschuss" (goodbye for you who only understand English). Other than that I have a bunch of sayings for real things, but don't say the real things. Like food and drink is "Mam-am". When I want something or want to ask what something is then I ask "Da" or Nah" or Nah-nah". I shake my head back and forth for No and say "Neih". I do not say Yes or have a saying for it, but I nod yes.
Teeth: Mami lost count. I surprised her one day when she brushed my teeth she heard the toothbrush hitting teeth in the back of my mouth...she did not even know I got some of my molars! I think I have about 12 or 14 teeth now.
Facial Gestures: I am a drama queen and a mimic master...and known for both not only at home but also in child care.
Body Movements: Active Active Active...STILL! I climb on everything and if I can't manage then I demonstrate until Mami comes and helps me climb more. On August 3rd I took my first 3 steps alone and then on August 7th I took 7 steps in a row twice. But since then I only stand up and take a few steps when I am not lazy. Otherwise I crawl very fast and go up and down the stairs too. Most of the time I want to walk up and down the stairs; for this I either use the railing or ask Mami or Papi for two helping hands. When I want to walk around on the ground, then I ask Mami or Papi for one helping hand.
Food: I eat three times a day and compared to most other kids my age; I have a very healthy appetite! In the morning I have cereal with whole milk and grains. For lunch I eat 1 apple, 1 pear and 1 banana. For dinner either Mami has cooked something and I eat with her or if we are in a hurry or coming home from child care, then I eat a prepared meal with meat and veggies. My favorite snacks are bread, ice cream, dry meat and anything Mami or Papi are eating. I drink fruit juice in the morning, water or tea during the day and whole milk for dinner. Most of the time I get to feed myself if the food is not too runny. For the most part I use a spoon and a fork; but sometimes my hands are handy too.
Sleep: I am still a natural born sleeper! I still sleep a minimum of 12 hours every night alone in my own room. During the day I still take 2 naps and sleep in my stroller in the living room.

Showrooms

Mami is planning the changes to our bathrooms. I helped by assisting her at the showrooms!

Visiting

Mami and Papi set up some time to visit Adi. Shortly after we arrived Luca came for a visit too. I wasn’t really interested in the race car track, but the all of the Papis were having a ton of fun. In the meantime, Adi has lots of other toys and a big dog…it was easy to entertain myself; when I needed attention then I could count on Mami, Papi and Sandra.

Next Stop

Visiting Robbi, my Godfather, was the next stop on our tour. Here I am posing on Robbi’s living room table.
On Robbi’s birthday we went to lunch/dinner and as I was going to sleep in Mami’s arms I snuggled with her nose.

Boom

I was crawling as fast as I can and then I was so fast my arms got stuck under me…boom…but all is good and Papi and I had a good laugh.

Trampoline

Today we started our “Tour-de-Germany”. First stop is Melchingen Germany to visit cousin Anna and Luis. They have a huge trampoline. Here I am trying it out with Papi…later we bounced and played…
