"WwOWw, snnooin owtsiid” this is what I have woken up to for the past few days. Mami says if it keeps this up and stays cold enough Papi and I will get to go sledding over the weekend….yippy!
Seasonal Decor
Look how Mami and I decorated for the holidays at home. I have my own little chain with my name on it. The Christmas tree has horses, bears, Santa’s, angels, trains, balls and other little goodies that I like to look at and name each one of them. Mami and I also made a chain with numbers on it, I get to tare off one chain link for every day in December leading up to Christmas – Mami says that is how I will know when I can open the gifts Santa brings.
Rare Real Nap
Lately I have been fighting a little eye infection and a runny nose (which I constantly remind Mami and Papi that it is running by saying “nose” and they have to come with a tissue so I can blow it). Anyway, I thought tonight it was better to take a little nap, but I normally don’t take real naps anymore; just my little power naps where I don’t really sleep; just relax a bit and power up my energy reserves for a few seconds.
Cars and Trucks
“Auto”, “Furahrri”, “Gia”, “Tuck” and “Poche” are the words I use for my cars and trucks. Can you guess what each of these words really stands for? Mami and Papi don’t have to guess, they understand me just fine and they know how much I love playing with my Hotwheels, Matchboxes and other brands of play cars and trucks. OH, also thanks to the Ruetz’s I have a bunch more of them too!!!!
Adventure Continues
OK, now that I am up here on the bench for the first time; I’m going to check out what other things I can find up here…

Yup, you got it right…I am not playing with my hat as a toy but showing Papi how good I can take it off and put it on.
Hat or Toy?
Mami is mowing the lawn and picking up leaves that have fallen from the trees while I play with Papi and help him around the garden with other things. I have discovered I can get up on the bench around one of our outdoor tables…I love to explore! And what do you think am I playing with a toy or just taking my hat off and on?
Relax Chair
Now that I am a little taller I can get up in Mami’s relax chair without any help…Ooohhhh am I proud of myself.
TV Guide
It is almost time for me to go to bed and Papi wanted to check out what was on TV tonight…naturally I wanted to do the same. Luckily we have 2 TV Guides and Papi gave me the old one to look at while he looked at the current one.
Mr. Potato Head
When I was just 3+ months and in the US visiting, Mami bought me this funny thing that she said I would like it later…it was Mr. Potato Head and a few Spuds to go with it. She was right; now I am all grown-up and like playing with these guys.
Papi’s PJs
When Papi goes to work, he is careful not to wake me up in the early morning and leaves his PJs by the stairs on his way out…perfect for me to grab and put on!!!
Toy Box
Not only is my toy box for my toys, it is also for me to climb into and hang out for a while :-)
Sticker Collection
With yet another one of my hats, I am playing with my rain forest stickers (Mami says luckily I do not know they are stickers yet; she is worried that I would stick them all over the place). I like to put them in my plastic zipper bag, take them out, look at all the rain forest animals and then most of the time leave a very spread out pile of my entire collection.
Letters
My Grandma brought me these foam puzzle piece letters. When I was a little baby Mami had them under my play blanket on the floor; now that I am mobile I get to do what I want with these letters (so long as I am not biting them). For now I am most interested in taking the different pieces apart and leaving a huge mess for Mami or Papi to pick up…
Neighbor Maya
Our neighbor Maya came over for a chat tonight. I hardly see her, she is so often visiting friends and family around Switzerland; but when she is at home I like spending time with her.
Still Drawing
You can see that when Mami gives me my markers to draw instead of the colored pencils I can make a mess of my fingers when I put the cap back on…
Drawing
Sitting at the table drawing with Mami is a newer activity of mine that I like. It depends on my mood; some days I can sit here for an hour and others only 20 minutes. Mami keeps all of my drawings for me so she can give them to my relatives and Godparents as gifts (but Ssshhhhhh; don’t tell them!).
