Development Statistics at 10 months and 1 week old.

Weight: 7.2 kg (15.9 lbs)
Height: 69.5 cm (27.4 in)
Uuuuuuhhhhoooooooiiiiiiiii, I am back on the scales for a girl my age; no longer so small that I am below the lowest end of the bell curve!!!

Vocabulary: I really do not have new developments with my vocals the last month...still using them all of the time and with attention getting noise levels!
Teeth: They are on a break right now, but since I have been 8 months old I have 6 teeth (I got my first one at 5 1/2 months old).
Facial Gestures: You have already seen all of my faces on this blog :-D Maybe the one that is hard to catch is when I get something from a 'stranger' I look to my Mami to see if she thinks it is OK or not.
Body Movements: Active Active Active...I can't sit up from a laying down position yet, but I am getting close. Things that are above me are starting to interest me more and more and I reach with really long arms to grab things up there. My inch-worming has worked so well for me I use it more and more but now only on my stomach and moving in the forward direction. I use both of my arms to pull my body forward and get a bit of help mostly from my right leg -- Mami and Papi are slowly starting to put things that can hurt me if they fall over out of the way and will soon be putting up barriers so I can not fall down the stairs or from the gallery.
Food: Mami has experimented with me so she knows what she has to bring on our Spring Sahara trip since she can not have everything homemade because we do not have a freezer in the desert! She found the solution and we will be trying it out off and on over the next month before we go do make sure I like it! Mami said for our November Sahara trip she hopes I am eating what she eats so she won't have to worry about extra food for me.
Sleep: I am a natural born sleeper still sleeping for 10-12 hours every night alone in my own room. During the day I still take 2 naps and either sleep in my bed or in one of my hammocks in the living room. For our Africa trip, Mami and Papi (with the help from Mischa) are building me a bed in the roof tent -- like Mischa built for Adi his son. It is going to be like a loft over Mami and Papi's feet where I will be laying perpendicular to them.
