Thanks for the mail gift package…and the things I got at my party! What I liked most is that people are thinking about me and when possible spending time with me ;-)

More Presents
My Godfather sent me birthday presents in the mail because he is on his way to Mexico to visit his brother; but I will see him in July when Mami and Papi take me to visit him. Here I am opening and playing with some of the cool wooden toys he sent.
Outside Adventures
Mami is trying to get me used to going outside and playing so she can get some garden work done. I am not so sure I like the idea…I still need Mami close to me and paying total attention to me. Today I played with the Kitchen Box from our Africa trip and then Mami took me downstairs and wheeled me around in my wooden wagon. When Timo came outside with his friend I was even more entertained…
Party Time
My party was a bit overwhelming with my Godmother and family, Grossmami, Grosspapi, Neighbor Babysitter Susi and family, Neighbor Maya and of course Mami and Papi here all paying attention to me. Grossmami baked me a cake and everyone brought something for me to unwrap. Mami and Papi said they were keeping it a small party, but I thought it was a BIG deal; I can’t wait for next year.
Pre-Party
Today Mami and Papi have organized a birthday party for me. Before everyone gets here Papi takes a nap and I play with my DVDs.
Indoor Swing
I am finally big enough to sit in my indoor swing…and I like it; but Mami can not swing me as much as I want to because I would be hitting too many plants. Mami says that is why I have a swing outside, to be swung more wildly!
Happy 1st BDay
It is 05:30 AM on my 1st birthday, and I am not so interested in celebrating yet! Mami and Papi have to go to work, and I will go to child care…so time to get up.

Bed
Here I am playing in my bed (Mami tried to get me to go to sleep, but I was more interested in being the center of attention).
Easter
Back in Switzerland, we visited Grossmami and Grosspapi over Easter. And I got to play with my Schüpbach cousins from Germany, Anna and Luis.
Full Tourists’ Day
Mami, Papi, Emma with Family and I had a full day in the shoes of a Tourist! After a little more shopping in Hammamet’s old town, we returned to the hotel and smoked some Shisha. While the adults were enjoying the atmosphere and apple tobacco, I passed out on the couch next to them…
