Beetles

Here you can see where we slept in and Mami made our typical Bacon, Eggs and Hash browns bunch. Since we were not very far south of Ksar Ghilane, Papi took a quick motorcycle trip up to the waterhole to take a dip in the warm water while Mami and I hung out with each other and played in the sand.

This third and fourth camp site was dubbed the “Beetle Camp”. There were always between 20 and 50 of these beetles crawling around. Some of them tried to eat Papi’s feet and when Papi picked them up for me to look at I grabbed them and tried to eat them!
