We kept on our direct route to Douz and ran into a dirt road that looked like it was newly made, so Mami and Papi decided to take it. Soon, it lead us to this crossroad and we travelled the last few kilometers by asphalt to Douz.
In Douz, Papi got his hair cut and beard shaved. While Mami and I waited, a friendly Arab man brought me some yogurt and many people gave me a kiss! When Papi was done, we headed out for the last camp (number 6) in the fresh air and pure nature. Mami and Papi were really busy our last night out in the wild – they were repacking everything that we would need for the rest of the trip because tomorrow we are heading to Hammamet to stay in a hotel before catching the ferry back to Europe. Can you believe it? Mami didn’t take any more photos after this one!!!!
